Relying on over thirty years experience in the production of needle felts, of cooperation with many clients, OEMs, fibre producers and a team of engineers dedicated to the research and development of new products, Fratelli Testori has achieved a complete range of standard and personalized needle felts. They are of various fibres, available in different weights and with special treatments of finish, heatsetting, glazing, impregnation and coating.
Two modern needling plants combined with two finishing lines produce more than 3 million m2 of felt per year which are used in the various sewing shops of the group and sold directly to clients.
The main characteristics that influence the quality of Testori felts are checked and continuously updated. They are: the fibre denier, the needling speed, the diameter and shape of the needles, the thickness, weight and density of felt, the level of heatsetting and singeing, the glazing and calendering. The final visual inspection verifies and guarantees the constant quality of our products.
We indicate in the table the main characteristics of our "standard" range of felts. Upon request we can supply a technical sheet and a sample of the article. For working conditions with possible build up of static charges, we offer needlefelt mixed with Bekinox metal fibre or epitopric fibre. We also offer specific treatments to improve chemical resistance, hydrolysis and to facilitate dustcake release:
