100
years of history
• 1905 Testori at Novate Milanese.
· The Twenties: specialisation in industrial filtration.
· 1932: first partnership abroad - Agreement with a French company
specialised in the production of felt for paper mills.
· Post-war: diversifying applications - Manufacture of fabrics for
liquid and gas filtration for a wide range of industrial sectors (chemical,
metal, pharmaceutical, environmental protection).
· The Sixties and Seventies: major innovation - Using the new synthetic
fibres, Testori was one of the first in Europe to start up production of non
woven felt for filtration. The first needle felt production plant was installed
in 1971 followed, in 1973, by the pioneering use of thermo-welding techniques.
· The Eighties: Testori handles the globalisation of markets - To meet
the challenges of globalisation, Testori reorganised its operations for conditions
of best efficiency, introducing modern systems for automation of the production
processes.
· The Nineties: growth and internationalisation - Testori continued
to increase its position in the domestic and international scene, striking
agreements, making acquisitions and setting up joint ventures.
· 2000: the consolidation of R&D processes and customer services
- The Testori Group is the outright leader in the domestic market of industrial
filtration and a key player in Europe. Using integrated processes assures
control over all the production stages. The R&D activities promote the
development and use of ever higher performance fibres, to keep abreast of
the evolution in applications of individual customers.
